For a Level Six Civilization, there were no mandatory routes from the extended outer region of the Milky Way Galaxy Outer Arm to the Shield Arm. After all, the universe was three-dimensional, and the Milky Way Galaxy's spiral arms were not flat planes.
A Level Six Civilization possessing a complete star map of the Milky Way Galaxy could simply designate a destination, activate cruising mode, and replenish supplies when necessary.
After joining the United Front, Humanity also obtained a map of the entire Milky Way Galaxy. It was not the semi-speculative sort of map from humanity's Earth Era, but an accurate star map produced through genuine multidirectional observation.
