The Lyra's Quantum Macro Tunneling intervals were extremely short. Before long, the reload speeds of the two main guns, Void Strike and Tachyon Light Sword, could no longer keep up, so they had to alternate.
However, Quantum Macro Tunneling could not be activated indefinitely. Otherwise, there would be no need for Warp Speed Travel at all. The limiting factor was energy consumption. Activating Quantum Macro Tunneling once for a displacement of roughly three light-years consumed dozens of times more energy than traveling three light-years at warp speed. Thus, using frequent Quantum Macro Tunneling for long-distance travel was unrealistic. Of course, it could still be done in emergencies, but it required frequent resupply.
Therefore, under normal circumstances, Quantum Macro Tunneling would only be used in combat.
In other words, as long as the enemy could hold out until the Lyra exhausted its stored fuel, they would have a chance of defeating it. As a warship equipped with four types of characteristic technology, the Lyra was equivalent to having four enormous energy drains. Every one of those characteristic technologies was one.
Quantum Macro Tunneling and Quantum Exile Strike were the greatest among them, while Third-Person Piloting Mode and the Warp Enhancement Device were somewhat more reasonable.
But judging from the situation, the three gods of the Heavenly Maiden Civilization would not last until the Lyra ran out of fuel. Their Four-Dimensional Space jumps had much shorter intervals than those of the Sacred Guards—after all, it was a privilege of gods—but before the Lyra, it was still insufficient. Basically, the Lyra could activate Quantum Macro Tunneling twice before they could prepare for a single Four-Dimensional Space jump.
In terms of frequency, even if they could jump farther, the Lyra could easily catch up to them, just as it was bombarding them now.
