To break through the Boundary Breakers' encirclement, every civilization in The Great Voyage Organization paid an enormous price. Humanity and the Awakeners could crush the Boundary Breakers, but there were simply too many of them. As a result, even with the three major Characteristic Technology civilizations at headquarters protecting them, the headquarters' Residential Spaceship Cluster still suffered several attacks.
Although each civilization ultimately exhausted its last fleets to destroy them, many civilizations were still wiped out because of it.
Among them was the Gutes Civilization. They had already been devastated by Soul Annihilation weapons, and at the final moment, they carried out the "Civilization Kindling Plan." They had indeed successfully preserved the seeds of their civilization aboard their ships. Unfortunately, among the fifty-seven civilizations of The Great Voyage Organization, they were far from the only ones to implement the "Civilization Kindling Plan."
It was easy to imagine that by the time a civilization had reached the point of implementing the "Civilization Kindling Plan," it basically had no combat strength left.
So when the Boundary Breakers attacked, they could only rely on other civilizations to protect them. But at that time, the other civilizations were barely able to protect themselves. Their fleets' first reaction was naturally to defend their own residential spaceships. Even the Divine Matrix Civilization, the Silver Heart Civilization, and the Falcon Civilization all pulled back to the Residential Spaceship Cluster to focus on protecting their own residential ships.
The guard fleet Human Civilization had left at headquarters was also only doing its best to protect humanity's own residential spaceships. That was their duty.
Although all civilization clusters of The Great Voyage Organization were in the same star region, they were not mixed together. Each civilization still lived aboard its own residential spaceships. Under such circumstances, the civilizations that
