Background / History
Human Civilization originated in the Solar System, but the destruction of the Sun forced it to become a wandering civilization. The scale of interstellar space concealed the survivors from the unknown civilization responsible, giving humanity time to escape, rebuild, and grow stronger 709.
Its early voyages were shaped by caution toward artificial intelligence. Contact with the Moke Star Civilization revealed how an intelligent Nanobot consciousness had devastated a Tier 3 civilization; Human Civilization subsequently developed translation-capable AI such as Tianhe Light, while treating Strong Artificial Intelligence as a major security risk 83 408.
After rebuilding its industrial and scientific base, humanity advanced through True Nanotechnology and became a Level 3 Civilization. It later defeated the Crimson Flame Civilization, absorbed much of its population and technology, and began a millennium-long effort to master the Grand Unified Theory—the barrier to Level 4 401 562.
Human Civilization expanded into a multi-species polity by incorporating the Nair People, Kuntai People, Dog-Headed People, and Crimson Flame Civilization as affiliated races. These races retained internal administration and research roles, but were prohibited from possessing independent fleets; their standing was reflected in allocations of living conditions, materials, and Life Elixirs 500.
Upon becoming a Level 4 Civilization, humanity broadened its activity across the Perseus Arm while investigating the civilization that destroyed the Solar System. Its leadership delayed openly pursuing this enemy until humanity was strong enough to avoid another catastrophe 706.
Humanity’s discovery of its aptitude in the Mental Consciousness Domain eventually led to its Characteristic Technology. It became one of the leading civilizations of the Great Voyage Organization, working alongside powers such as the Awakener, Divine Matrix, Silver Heart, and Daya civilizations against larger interstellar threats 932 1157.
Society and Governance
Human Civilization is governed through the Human Interstellar Government, formerly referred to as the New Government. Its political culture prioritizes scientific development, technological security, and long-term survival 396 1464.
- Gene editing is centrally regulated to preserve a common human evolutionary framework; elective specializations are available at an individual’s own expense 146.
- Scientific achievement is treated as a primary social value. Human society follows ideals described as “governing through technology” and “science above all” 1464 1600.
- The government promotes competition in research, invention, and discovery, including contributions from affiliated races 507.
- Affiliated races can earn Contribution Degree through fleet and exploration work, then exchange it for Human Civilization technology and residential ships 705.
Biological Evolution
Human Civilization deliberately pursues physical and genetic evolution rather than relying on innate “superpowers.” Its enhancement programs draw on biosphere samples and alien genetic traits 138.
- Personalized modification — Individuals may gain eagle-like vision, dog-like olfaction, Iron Carapace nails, or other elective traits within regulated limits 146.
- New Humans — Specialization modifications created visibly altered humans, including “Cat Eye” individuals; enhanced strength initially caused widespread accidental property damage 152.
- Human Body Overclocking — Developed from research into Kuntai metamorphosis mechanisms; later opened to the public after extended testing and High-Concentrate Food development 212 227.
- Life Elixirs — Life Elixir 2.0 extended lifespan to roughly 400 years when used after Life Elixir 1.0; later versions improved longevity and removed the scaled appearance associated with overclocked states 149 296.
- Enhanced perception — Humans were genetically modified to perceive colors unavailable to Earth-era humans, a change retained even into the Quantum Life Form era 1607.
Abilities & Skills
Artificial Intelligence and Nanotechnology
Human Civilization employs advanced AI and True Nanotechnology while maintaining safeguards against AI rebellion.
- Tianhe Light can immediately translate alien signals into human language 83.
- True Nanobots can sever covalent and metallic bonds, enabling industrial and military applications 401.
- The Grey Goo Storm weapon deploys destructive Nanobot swarms 401.
- Strong Artificial Intelligence is governed by underlying-code prevention mechanisms, though scientists do not consider them absolutely foolproof 408.
Mechanical Mastery
Humanity’s deep specialization in mechanics gives it unusually high productivity and military potential for its civilization level.
- This specialization was central to victories over the Kun-Tai and Crimson Flame civilizations 677.
- Other civilizations can theoretically learn the field from complete technical data; it is not itself a Characteristic Technology 742.
- Mechanical Mastery enabled unusually advanced humanoid robots and large-scale shipbuilding 492 323.
Mental Consciousness Domain
Human Civilization’s racial talent lies in the Mental Consciousness Domain, particularly its universal Third-Person Dream Realm capacity.
- Mind Imprint Technology can alter or imprint consciousness, but was classified as Extremely Dangerous Technology after Level 4 theories revealed serious flaws 658.
- Affiliated races struggled to understand Mind Imprint Technology even when taught its full principles and applications, supporting its status as a human-specific field 658.
- Consciousness-linked warships can operate in Third-Person Perspective mode, granting exceptional observation, evasion, and combat coordination 933 1399.
- Humanity developed Three-Pilot Mode, strengthening consciousness-linked warships through simultaneous pilots 1027.
- Races lacking the Third-Person Dream Realm receive no benefit from Human consciousness-linking equipment 933.
Microscopic High-Dimensional Technology
Humanity’s mature Characteristic Technology is based on observation and manipulation of microscopic high dimensions.
- It discovered finite “tunnels” within Calabi-Yau Space that connect to defined macroscopic regions 1286.
- A Quantum Sail and Quantum Tide allow navigation through these tunnels 1286.
- The Microscopic High-Dimensional Jump Device enabled the Lyra to make four-light-year jumps 1290.
- Humanity’s “String Plucking” can weave, correct, and repair physical rules rather than merely modify them destructively 1607.
- This ability earned Human Civilization the feared nickname “String Plucker” among the Boundary Breakers 1400.
Physical-Rule Engineering
During exploration of Pixel Space, Human Civilization gained the ability to operate and repair physical rules.
- It collects samples of altered physical-rule environments in Pixel Space and shares the data with allied civilizations 1607.
- Unlike its allies, humanity can use String Plucking to precisely restore deviated rules, including damaged Quantum Entanglement communication mechanisms 1607.
- Other civilizations can reproduce only preset physical-rule modifications and cannot yet learn humanity’s method 1607.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Lyra — Flagship; an early recorded model measured five kilometers long, three kilometers wide, and three kilometers high 323.
- New Lyra — A later super-warship designed around Human Civilization’s strongest conventional and Characteristic Technology; its final form is smaller and visually unfixed 1464.
- Consciousness-Linked Warships — Standardized fleet vessels using Third-Person Perspective piloting and advanced evasion 1192 1399.
- Quantum Exile Strike — Signature long-range attack; upgraded to a range of 1.618 light-years 1290.
- Grey Goo Storm — True-Nanobot swarm weapon 401.
- String-based Computer — Near-maximal finite computing system capable of calculating all mathematically possible Calabi-Yau Manifolds; supports the Dream Lyra and String Plucking research 1492.
- New Particle Collider — Millennium-scale project built to pursue the Grand Unified Theory 633.
- Pioneer equipment — Includes a Warp-Speed enhancement device and systems that unlocked Quantum Macro Tunneling after humanity reached Level 6 1024 1189.

Trivia
- Human Civilization’s first known trace deliberately left on an alien world was on the Dog-Headed People’s planet 877.
- The Dog-Headed People came to revere humanity as the “God of Light Civilization,” imagining humans as towering giants based on Tactical Armor statues 632.
- Humanity’s leaders consider technological progress inseparable from survival; religious and supernatural explanations have largely been displaced by Science Supremacy in its society 396.
