Lifeform or Natural Phenomenon

The Nebula was dense, but it was still only a Nebula. Humanity's creations could penetrate even Gaseous Planets, so entering the Nebula's interior was naturally no challenge.

Given humanity's current travel technology, this Nebula's radius was not particularly large. Besides, there was no need to explore the entire Nebula. Human scientists were merely curious about this phenomenon they had never seen before, so after entering the Nebula, the Probe Spaceship headed straight for those flickering specks.

Once they drew closer, humanity discovered that the flashing specks could actually move. Especially after the Probe Spaceship approached, those blinking spots of light began flowing like water.

At first, humanity thought it was a coincidence. But after the Probe Spaceship approached, the flashing points moved away from it again and again. Only then did humanity realize that these points of light might be able to detect the Probe Spaceship's approach.

To verify this guess, humanity ordered the Probe Spaceship to head directly toward those flashing points. As expected, the flashing points truly avoided the Probe Spaceship.

"Could those flashing points be some kind of lifeform? Or perhaps creations of an Alien Civilization?"

The former greatly intrigued humanity, while the latter made humanity more cautious. But regardless of which it was, humanity's exploration would not stop. Even if something went wrong, they would only lose a few Probe Spaceships. Humanity had plenty of those.

With that in mind, humanity sent out several more Probe Spaceships and had them penetrate deep into the Nebula to collect data and conduct observations, especially observations focused on the flashing points.

Yet the deeper they went into the Nebula, the more flashing points humanity found. There were even vast patches resembling Fluorescent Powder, as though they were gathering places for the flashing points.
