A strange Warp Speed Trail?
How strange could it be? How strange could a Warp Speed Trail possibly be? Maybe Adeli should ask himself whether he was scared!
"Where?"
Though Yue Yuan wanted to complain, he still had to ask carefully. After all, the appearance of a Warp Speed Trail in the starry sky meant only one thing: something else was active out there.
"I've already marked the location. It's about eight light-years from here. If you want to take a look, send a few people who know how to investigate and come with me." As Adeli spoke, he rippled ahead of the Lyra and drifted forward. Before long, he entered Warp and sped toward the destination.
Seeing this, Yue Yuan said nothing more and directly dispatched three Probe Teams after him.
The Star Alliance Great Fleet continued waiting until the transport ships rendezvoused before setting out together.
More than a month later, the Probe Teams sent back their findings.
"Calling headquarters. The Warp traces have been thoroughly investigated. They are indeed very strange. They do not appear to have been left by a fleet. They are approximately one year old, and we have determined their direction of travel. Detailed survey data has been synchronized and transmitted back to headquarters."
Yue Yuan glanced over the report, then looked at the Science Officer beside him.
The Science Officer, who was examining the survey data, sensed Yue Yuan's gaze. He pointed and tapped at the Holographic Screen as he spoke. "These Warp traces differ greatly from those left by fleets. They are more singular, yet much deeper. Combined with the information we have gathered in the past, I believe they may have been left by some kind of Individual Civilization."
Yue Yuan nodded. That was what he thought as well.
