Still going to keep building?
Upon hearing this from the Divine Matrix Civilization and combining it with what they had observed, humanity and the Daya Civilization immediately thought of a possibility: the Divine Matrix Civilization was building a neutron star!
Ordinarily, neutron stars were products of supernova explosions from massive stars, but those were neutron stars formed under natural conditions.
But no one had ever said neutron stars could only be produced naturally, had they?
Then could technology create a neutron star?
The answer was yes. As long as technology was advanced enough, building a planet was not difficult.
Forming a rocky planet only required piling up enough matter. Physical quantities such as gravity and angular momentum would knead that matter into a sphere. That was why all planets in the universe were spherical.
Yet the Divine Matrix Civilization was still continuously adding matter to the white dwarf star before them. As the matter increased, its mass inevitably grew as well, but the planet's volume was shrinking.
This showed that the Divine Matrix Civilization was using some form of technology to compress matter, or using the white dwarf star's own gravity to compress it. That ability to suddenly sweep away all the matter was probably caused by the unsealing of shielded gravity.
The Divine Matrix Civilization clearly possessed Characteristic Technology, perhaps something related to gravity. Though humanity and the Daya Civilization still did not know exactly what it was, it was undoubtedly connected to the war star they were building.
The Divine Matrix Civilization had said so itself. They were hiding away in the Small Universe precisely to finish building their war star.
"May I ask, are you building a neutron star?" the Daya Civilization asked the question humanity had wanted to ask.
