After they returned home, Mr. Yoshino and Eichi prepared an especially lavish dinner.

Beedrill's dinner was equally lavish. During the meal, Father said to Eichi, "Eichi, I'm very proud to see the excellent results you achieved."

"You've had your own ideas since you were little, and you've always studied hard."

"And I'm just an ordinary person. I don't have the ability to provide you with a better environment. All I can do is support you silently and help you within my means."

"Thank you, Father," Eichi said.

Then Father continued, "Make sure you protect yourself from now on. I heard about that incident. Don't do something like that again."

Eichi knew that the matter with the Poaching Gang had worried his father. Ever since he had transmigrated, Father had never spoken so much to him as he had today.

Eichi and Aji walked home together. Aji asked Eichi, "Eichi, what are you planning to do this summer?"

"I'll probably stay home and study Breeding Knowledge," Eichi said.

"Ah! It's vacation already, and you're still thinking about studying? Won't you get bored?"

"It's fine. You could say it's a hobby, so it's not that boring."

After answering, Eichi asked Aji, "Aji, what are you planning to do this summer?"

Aji immediately looked excited. "Of course I'm going to play. I'll play however I want. I finally graduated, so I'm going to go out and have fun with my Mankey for a while."

Over the past few days, Eichi had visited those Bug Catchers. Agawa, Takahashi, and Atai would be attending a vocational academy in Tokiwa City after summer vacation.

The other Bug Catchers were still the same as ever, and over the past few days, new Bug Catchers had joined them.

Eichi's departure had not affected them at all. Another cycle had begun. It seemed Bug Catchers would never disappear.

Today was the first day of vacation. Eichi specifically went to see Teacher Arno. He sat before Teacher Arno in his office as usual.

"Certainly. Please follow me."

Eichi followed the sales assistant to a shelf, where she took out a small device wrapped in bands from one of the rows.

The device was very compact and had a screen on it.

The sales assistant smiled as she introduced it to Eichi. "This is our store's weight trainer, specially designed for Pokémon training."

"This model is specifically designed for small Pokémon."

"May I ask which Pokémon you need to add weight to? That way, I can prepare the appropriate device."

"My Pokémon is a Beedrill," Eichi said.

"For a Beedrill, this model will be sufficient."

"Of course, we also offer custom-made weight trainers tailored specifically to Pokémon, which can achieve better results."

"Which kind would you like?"

Eichi nodded, released Beedrill, and said to the sales assistant, "Then please custom-make one for my Beedrill."

"Certainly. Please follow me. I'll take some measurements for your Beedrill."

Then they began the day's training. First, Beedrill flew twenty laps as usual.

Next came move training. The moves Beedrill currently knew were: "Fury Attack, Twin Needles, Rage, Pursuit, Agility, Pin Missile, Focus Energy, Poison Jab, Toxic Spikes."

Beedrill had reached the proficient level with all of these moves, though it was still a little short of mastery.

Eichi's goal for this summer was to bring all of Beedrill's moves to mastery.

In a few more days, Eichi planned to buy several TMs.

But it seemed the money in his pocket was not enough.
