Siege on Team Rocket

In the Kanto region, in a forest on the outskirts of Tokiwa City.

There was an open clearing deep in the forest, encircled by towering trees and lush vegetation. A cliff stood behind it, with a great river below. It was undeniably an excellent location.

A massive villa had been built amid the trees, covering an extraordinarily large area. There were no space restrictions in the forest, so it had been constructed however they pleased.

From afar, the villa looked unimaginably huge.

In the darkness, a group of people steadily approached the villa.

Suddenly, they all concealed themselves. With a swish, every one of them vanished from sight.

The group hid in the undergrowth and atop the giant trees. One of them saw that a three-meter-high wall had been built around the villa, topped with barbed wire.

Electrical boxes had been placed in the corners, while countless red dots moved across the wall.

They knew that those red dots were all surveillance cameras. Anyone appearing near the wall would be discovered.

Then they saw something moving in the darkness. Someone said, "Those are thermal sensors. This is bad—we may have been discovered."

His words caused a small stir.

A leader-looking man spoke into the earpiece by his ear. "Report: the target has thermal sensors. We may have been discovered."

After he finished speaking, a voice came through the earpiece. "In that case, change the plan. Launch a direct assault."

"Received!"

The leader-looking man then took out a walkie-talkie and said, "Change of plans. Surround the villa completely and begin the assault."

"Received!"

A continuous stream of acknowledgments came through the walkie-talkie.

Then countless beams of white light nearly blanketed the entire surrounding forest.
