"Beedrill has lost the ability to battle. Alakazam wins," the referee announced.

The spectators stirred, while some also breathed a sigh of relief.

Beedrill's performance had simply been too stunning. It had nearly accomplished the feat of One-vs-Three again.

And even in defeat, it had caused Alakazam tremendous trouble.

Rishiu said to Rex, "That Beedrill is truly strong. What a freak. A Pokémon like Beedrill actually became this powerful in his hands."

"For a moment just now, I even wondered whether the Beedrill in our region was an entirely different species from it."

On the big screen, the portrait of Beedrill beneath Eichi's image instantly dimmed.

Three of his Pokémon had now lost the ability to battle.

Eichi calmly recalled Beedrill into its Poké Ball.

He had anticipated this outcome long ago. Fortunately, Alakazam had been poisoned earlier, giving the Pokémon behind it a slight advantage.

Eichi took out a second Poké Ball and threw it.

Golisopod appeared on the ground, striking a flamboyant slashing pose before giving Alakazam a provocative look.

Alakazam had no mood to pay attention to Golisopod's Taunt.

It had already fallen into a poisoned state and felt terribly uncomfortable. Its entire face had begun to turn purple; the poisoning was severe.

"The battle continues," the referee announced.
