Of course, everyone else got along quite well too. Although Beedrill and the others looked rather aloof, they were actually quite gentle once you got to know them.
Watching the Pokémon talk among themselves, Misty said to Ash, "That's a relief. They seem to be getting along happily."
"When they first came out, every one of them had this icy, prickly look in their eyes."
"I was a little scared. I thought they were all Pokémon that would be hard to get along with."
"Especially that Beedrill. Just looking at it gave me chills."
"I didn't expect them to be so easygoing after spending time with them."
Ash asked doubtfully, "I think they all look pretty cool. Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?"
Misty said irritably, "That's because you're too thick-skinned."
About half an hour later, the aroma of food began drifting through the air.
Eichi took a sniff and said, "It smells great. You can tell it won't taste bad just from the smell."
Ash said proudly, "Of course. Brock's cooking won't disappoint you."
"Alright, food's ready!" Brock's voice called out.
A pot of rich soup was bubbling on the stove in front of him.
He took a sip and said, "Tastes good. It's just right."
Eichi and the others walked over and ladled the soup into bowls.
Eichi also began preparing lunch for the Pokémon. He took several large bags of Pokémon food from his backpack.
He divided it among different food bowls and placed them in front of the Pokémon.
At the same time, he added Pokéblocks to the bowls.
Brock, who was drinking soup, saw this and curiously walked over.
He picked up a bag of Pokémon food and looked at the label.
The yellow bag had only one sticker on it, which read: Beedrill
