Scizor and Eichi sat off to the side, not disturbing them.
Pinsir was leaving. To them, Pinsir was going with Eichi to a human city and would be gone for a long time. They were probably reluctant to part with it.
They had lived together for several years, and everyone had grown accustomed to Pinsir's presence.
Now that Pinsir was suddenly leaving, their reluctance to part surged up all at once.

Pinsir told him somewhat proudly that they would not be bullied, because they were very strong.

Now Eichi understood. After all, a group of Elite Four level Pokémon had no reason to fear incursions from other Pokémon.
