Background / History

Hawk and his sister Anya were abandoned at St. Paul’s Church by their biological mother. He was raised through the church and local community, experiences he later remembers as painful rather than comforting. 308

Anya’s death during the Hulk and Abomination battle in Manhattan becomes Hawk’s defining motivation. He witnesses debris from Hulk’s attack on Abomination kill her, leaving him determined to gain enough power to never again be helpless. 72

After awakening his Cosmo, Hawk targets the Gamma Stone at Bruce Banner’s abandoned Quantico laboratory because it is needed for his Cloth. Unable to purchase it, he infiltrates the base, draws General Ross’s attention, and trains at Cunningham Falls while the military searches for him. 25 34 35
