Xun'er Has Come Again

Xiao Yan and his group returned to the Central Continent and immediately headed to the Tianhe Alliance to discuss the Bodhi Ancient Tree.

Though it was called a discussion, the various measures had basically been arranged in advance. Xiao Yan only went over to confirm the process. Afterwards, he settled the Ancient Void Dragons Zhu Ming had brought to the Central Continent and asked Yun Ying to use the Tianhe Alliance's influence once more to search for Joyful Desire Venerables and Xiao Yu.

Although they had all been swept into the storm that day, its aftermath was not enough to leave experts of Joyful Desire Venerables' caliber without even their corpses intact. This left Xiao Yan with a faint hope that Xiao Yu was still alive.

"Please rest assured, Young Master Xiao. We will make the arrangements as soon as possible." Yun Ying nodded gently and said softly, "There is no need to worry. Young Master Xiao's cousin will surely have her own fortune. You need not worry about her safety."

"I hope so."

Xiao Yan responded like this, the worry on his face still refusing to fade. Though Yun Ying's consolation was obvious, he still placed some hope in it. Then, filled with concern, he returned to Starfall Pavilion, praying all the way for Xiao Yu's safety while pondering who exactly stood behind Hun Yan and the others.

On the way back to Starfall Pavilion, Gu Qinghan guessed whether it might be some highly influential figure within the Soul Clan. After all, Hun Yan and the other two were originally Soul Clan members, and the people capable of restraining them were likely Soul Clan experts as well.

However, Xiao Yan quickly rejected that answer.
