Gu Qinghan was raised under high expectations within the Gu Clan. She devoted most of her childhood to cultivation and caring for younger clan members, leaving her little interest in dress or adornment. Her usual wardrobe consisted only of training attire and the Black Seal Army uniform. 655

Falling Star City Incident

While stationed in Falling Star City with the Black Seal Army, Gu Qinghan first encountered Xiao Yan at a jewelry shop. She later followed him because his actions threatened to expose the army's secret mission. Their confrontation became a battle in which her speed repeatedly wounded him through his defenses. 655 656

The arrival of the Joyful Desire Venerables forced Qinghan and Xiao Yan into a temporary alliance. She held off Hun Mei and Hun Shu despite the large gap in cultivation, while Xiao Yan faced Hun Yan and the Bewildering Heaven Illusory Demon Fox. 659 660
