Background / History

Ananda had fought Long Xingyu repeatedly over the preceding decade. Their clashes established Long Xingyu as Ananda's principal human opponent and the one adversary he most wanted to kill in battle. Ananda had used Demon God Transformation fewer than twice in those earlier encounters, losing both times. 130

As the Seventh Demon God, Ananda was feared by both humans and demons for his madness. He would challenge even stronger Demon Gods—including the Star and Moon Demon Gods—if provoked, but regarded weak humans as unworthy of his attention rather than targets for indiscriminate slaughter. 6 8

His unruliness had limits. After previously being defeated by Demon God Emperor Feng Xiu, Ananda came to recognize Feng Xiu as absolutely invincible and no longer dared openly defy him. 8

Appearance

Ananda is a burly, three-meter-tall man with a ferocious, battle-hungry demeanor. He initially appears bare-chested and armed with a spear while standing atop the Seventh Demon God Pillar. 6

Personality

Ananda is a pure battle fanatic whose actions are driven by the pursuit of worthy opponents. He attacks without hesitation, favors decisive killing blows, and becomes more excited when an enemy proves stronger than expected. 6 7 100

His obsession with Long Xingyu is especially extreme. He repeatedly locks his killing intent onto Long Xingyu, insists that their conflict must end in a battle to the death, and dismisses other Demon Gods when they underestimate Long Xingyu's willingness to fight. 5 27 122 123

Although reckless and quick-tempered, Ananda recognizes strength. He accepted that Feng Xiu's authority could not be resisted, and he acknowledged Long Xingyu as an opponent who would not flee their appointed battle. 100 123
