"No problem. Then, Soji, Kabuto is yours!" After hearing Soji's arrangements, Orochimaru nodded decisively.
It seemed this trip had been well worth it!
Next, Orochimaru turned to Kabuto and instructed, "Kabuto, from now on, all your activities in Konoha will follow Soji's arrangements."
Of course, by "all activities," Orochimaru certainly did not mean the things he privately instructed Kabuto to do.
For example, approaching the Uchiha and taking the opportunity to gather information on people worth watching.
Other than that, Kabuto's activities in Konoha would be subject to Soji's command.
"Yes, I understand, Lord Orochimaru. I will obey all of Lord Soji's instructions!" Kabuto respectfully replied, then walked over to Soji.
From now on, he would be following Soji.
Soji, meanwhile, accepted this with perfect ease. Since he had already called him Teacher, didn't that mean Teacher's subordinates and resources were his too?
Once everything that needed to be explained had been explained, Orochimaru did not stay long.
He still had to deal with Sasori's pursuit.
So after tossing Kabuto over to Soji, he left.
"Let's go." After Orochimaru departed, Soji called to the three little ones and Kabuto, preparing to leave.
"Lord Soji, are we returning to Konoha now?" Kabuto, who did not yet know Soji's next destination, asked in confusion.
"No. Our next stop is Kirigakure, and only then will we return to Konoha." Without even turning his head, Soji continued walking ahead.
After glancing at the newly joined Kabuto, the three little ones followed after him.
Yakushi Kabuto hurriedly followed as well.
However, there was a trace of gravity on his face, as though he wanted to say something but hesitated.
