The mechanical barrel looked as though it had grown directly out of Nagato's body.
Wisps of smoke were still rising from it.
It was clear that the laser Nagato had just used to attack Manda had been fired from this mechanical barrel on his shoulder.
That terrifying laser, which seemed capable of piercing through anything, could punch straight through not only a flesh-and-blood creature like Manda, but even an entire mountain!
After piercing through Manda's body, its remaining power had continued flying through the air for another kilometer or two without dissipating.
If anyone nearby had looked up, they would surely have seen an upward-slanting streak of light.
In the original story, Nagato's Asura Attack had been described as capable of piercing through Planetary Devastation!
Of course, the Planetary Devastation in question most likely referred to one cast by Nagato himself.
Even so, that alone showed just how terrifying this move was.
After all, even Nagato's own Planetary Devastation had required Naruto in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Killer B, and Itachi to join forces in order to destroy it in the original story!
It was clear from this that although Asura Attack did not have a wide attack range, its incredible penetrating power meant that probably only a handful of people in the entire Ninja World could withstand it head-on!
"Hmph, you dodged that strike by using a Summoning Beast?"
Seeing his attack blocked once again by that utterly survival-obsessed fellow Orochimaru, Nagato's tone was filled with disdain.
