In Sokovia, on a lush green lawn, an exceedingly lavish wedding was underway.

"Wanda Django Maximoff, do you take this man to be your husband and enter into marriage with him, to love him, care for him, respect him, accept him, and remain forever faithful to him until death, whether in sickness or health, or for any other reason?"

The woman looked at the man across from her with a blissful expression and nodded gently.

"I do!"

The instant Wanda said those three words, "I do," an emotionless electronic notification sounded in Li Chuan's ear.

However, he had no time to worry about it now, since the ring exchange and kiss were about to begin.

Li Chuan, twenty years old, had originally been nothing more than a rich second-generation heir in Sokovia, idling his life away. When his parents died in an accident, they left behind an immense family fortune.

Originally, Li Chuan had only planned to become her boyfriend. Marriage was no joke, after all. Yet after three years together, he had unexpectedly fallen truly in love with Wanda.

It could not be helped. Unlike typical Western women, Wanda was conservative in her thinking and gentle by nature. She was especially serious when it came to love.

Her ideal life was to become a housewife, support her husband, raise children, and peacefully spend the rest of her days.
