Hearing his name, the young man seated second from the left immediately rose to his feet. "Legion Commander, your orders."
Kyle folded his hands and looked up at the young man. "If I assigned all four Soul Intent rank Inquisitor Knights supported by the legion logistics department to you, how long would it take you to wipe out the enemy beneath the Anyu Town pit?"
"Three hours."
After giving it some thought, the young man gave his answer.
At that response, everyone present showed varying degrees of surprise.
"I'll give you five hours." After a moment of silence, Kyle said, "Complete the mission, and I'll recommend you to the Marshal as Deputy Legion Commander of the Twenty-fifth Legion."
Upon hearing this, the young man's gaze sharpened. He said decisively, "Legion Commander, if I fail to wipe out Anyu Town within five hours, I'll resign from every military post and come lead your horse for you."
"I'll await your good news."
"This subordinate takes his leave."
The young man lowered his head in salute, then turned and left the City Lord's Mansion hall.
Seeing this, the other senior officers of the Third Army rose and saluted before following the young man out of the hall.

The middle-aged knight seated first on the left rose and saluted.
"Have your men take full control of Melsa Fortress. Then disarm everyone in the Twelfth Legion's Thirty-fifth Legion Third Army. Officers and soldiers alike—lock them all up."
