Inside a warehouse somewhere in the North City District of Batoons Fortress, soldiers of the Twelfth Legion carried pieces of magic equipment marked with damage labels into the tent.
Stopping before a piece of magic equipment with flaws in its appearance, Kyle picked up the machine card placed on top and began reading.
"Improved Magic Energy Cannon. November 1, Radiant Calendar 9773. Damaged due to inadequate supervision by soldiers during the operation to encircle and suppress the Black Asia Orc Army at the bottom of Changshan Rock Valley. Damage assessment: Level Three. May be scrapped."
Lowering his head to examine the improved Magic Energy Cannon with a missing corner, Kyle reached out and touched it. It was easy for him to tell whether the equipment had been naturally damaged or tampered with by their own people.
"It seemed the Twelfth Legion had indeed reached some sort of agreement with my lord."
Half an hour later, twenty-three damaged pieces of magic equipment had been carried into the tent, including six improved Magic Energy Cannons, seven small magic shielding devices, two high-tier magic armors, three Illusion Generators, one Portable Magic Barrier Generator, two small Elemental Furnaces, and two pairs of magic detection glasses.
"My lord, these are the first batch of damaged equipment. Please inspect them." A Silver High-Tier Knight came to Kyle's side, bowed with his head lowered, and respectfully presented the document in his hands with both hands.
Kyle accepted the document and gave it a cursory look. Finding nothing too outrageous, he signed his name at the bottom.
