On the morning of the third day, as dawn broke, Kyle listened to the report from the Soul Intent Low-Tier Shield Warrior before him in the Twenty-fifth Legion headquarters within Tase City. His expression turned somber.
He had not expected the Holy Shield Legion to fail not only to completely wipe out the Black Asia Orc Shadow Blade Legion, but also to let one Soul Intent High-level Dark Blade Warrior severely wound Namos, the legion commander, through self-destruction.
According to the original plan, the Holy Shield Legion should have annihilated the Shadow Blade Legion and sealed off the news, causing the enemy commander to misjudge the situation and dispatch Gray Orc troops or other elite legions from the United Kingdom of Kols.
But plans could not keep up with changes. Given the current situation, the plan had likely already failed.
Once the remnants of the Shadow Blade Legion that escaped reported this matter to Giant Stone Mountain Fortress, the enemy would very likely alter their plans. They might even abandon their original strategy entirely, instead withdrawing their forces or giving up the Kamo Tribe Territory.
