Fiolet shook her head slightly, picked up the wine cup on the stone table, and drained it in one gulp.
Sometimes, being a witness was not so bad either.
"My daughter, Meltis, has acknowledged you as her teacher. When you leave this time, will she still follow you?"
"She will." Kyle nodded without the slightest hesitation. "One purpose of coming to Galos Cloud City with him this time was to find thirty Soul Intent rank followers. Another was to put knowledge into practice."
"I believe that under your guidance, she will surpass me."
Kyle did not answer.
Seeing that Kyle remained silent, Fiolet brought up another subject. "Regarding these thirty Soul Intent rank followers, do you need Galos Cloud City's help?"
"I have already promised five of them to the Ilondewin Kingdom. For the remaining twenty-five, I'll have to trouble you, Lady Fiolet."
"Consider it tuition paid to you on Meltis's behalf." Fiolet filled her cup again, raised it, and toasted Kyle from afar.
Watching Fiolet act so boldly and freely, Kyle had to admit that he was momentarily distracted.
