On the last day of the holiday, Velin was, as usual, lying in the garden basking in the sun when Hilda hurried over, bowed, and said, "Master, the guards report that a messenger has arrived from the sea."
Hearing this, Velin immediately sat up and said, "Bring him to my study."
"Yes."
Hilda answered, then turned to leave.
"Oh, and call Kyle over as well."
"Yes, Master."
After watching Hilda leave, Velin wore a somewhat helpless expression as he waved his hand and stored the lounge chair in the internal space of the Druid's Book.
It seemed he would not be able to relax on the final day after all.
Arriving at the study, Velin sat down behind the desk, picked up a storybook, and read while waiting.
About half an hour later, there was a knock on the study door.
"Come in."
Outside the study, Hilda pushed open the door, then stepped aside and gestured for the messenger to enter.
The High-Silver Warrior dressed in gray entered the study. Reaching the desk, he dropped to one knee and respectfully said, "Zos, captain of the Third Sea Exploration Unit, greets you, my lord."
Velin put down his book and looked at the High-Silver Warrior kneeling in the middle of the study, his face bearing several scars.
"Rise."
Hearing this, the High-Silver Warrior stood up, took out two magical Memory Crystals, and presented them with both hands.
Seeing the two glowing magical Memory Crystals, Velin drew them before him with a thought and set them on the desk without immediately examining the information inside.
"Zos, go sit over there and rest for a while."
"Thank you, my lord."
The High-Silver Warrior saluted with a fist to his chest, then went to the resting area by the window and sat down.
"Hilda."
