In the past, they could do whatever they wanted. All they needed to do was record the Space Fluctuation data once every half hour.
But eight months ago, an order had suddenly come down from above: every minute of Space Fluctuation had to be monitored.
At first, no one took the order seriously. They only treated it as some impractical command the higher-ups had issued on a whim. But after six Fourth Rank professionals were publicly burned at the stake, everyone got serious and no longer dared to treat their own lives as unimportant.
