Under the Tower Spirit's guidance, Velin arrived at Duke Moravia's study.

Standing beside the bookshelf, he casually picked up a book, flipped through a few pages, then silently closed it and put it back on the shelf.

Some knowledge was better left unlearned if no one was there to guide you.

He went to the desk, fiddled with the things on it a few times, then sat down in the chair.

"Enjoying the view outside the window from here really feels different." Velin lowered his head and looked into the distance, a relaxed expression on his face.

"What's this?"

All of a sudden, from the corner of his eye, Velin noticed a book with a slight gap in it. He reached out, grabbed it, brought it before him, and opened it, only to see a letter appear before his eyes.

He picked up the letter and looked at the special mark on it. Velin found it very familiar.

"I remember now. This looks like the pattern on Father's sword blade."

"If I'm guessing right, this should be..."

Velin put the letter away, looked around, and after finding no one there, slowly opened the envelope and pulled out the letter inside.

For some reason, the moment he thought about seeing the contents of a letter his father had written to his mother, he could not help feeling excited.

He unfolded the paper and looked at its contents. The writing on it was in unknown symbols, entirely black, obviously the secret code agreed upon between his father and mother.

Below it, however, was the common language. Judging by the red characters, it had most likely been written by his maternal grandfather.

"Let me see what it says."

"Dear Elisa:

My wife, I wonder if you have been well lately. I am sorry
