"I intend to give the title of marquess to Angel's child."

"I understand," Odalys was the first to reply.

"I'll do as you say," Iyetah followed, making her position clear to Belder.

Angel lowered her head, a trace of apprehension on her face.

After glancing at Angel's bowed head, Belder turned to his other two wives and said gravely, "I know you're unhappy about this."

"But in this matter, this is the only thing I can do."

"Today, I'm laying everything out in front of all three of you. How you explain it to the children is up to you. That's your business."

"First, there's Isufiel Cassius. Her husband, Ilsuen Cassius, is Cassius's eldest son. Unless something unexpected happens, Cassius will receive at least the title of marquess, and that title will undoubtedly pass to his eldest son in the future."

"As for Kelis, with her talent, my support, and her future husband, she will achieve no small amount in the years ahead."

"That means both of their brothers will have a certain amount of resources at their disposal."

"Finally, there's Angel. Her two children have mediocre talent, with nothing that particularly stands out."

"So I'll give them a higher starting point. But that also means I won't allocate any additional resources to them. Instead, I'll take those resources and invest them in Odalys's and Iyetah's children."

After finishing, Belder turned to Angel and waited for her answer.

Angel stood and bowed to Odalys and Iyetah, then looked at Belder and said, "I'll remember your words."

Belder waved for Angel to sit down, then continued, "While I'm alive, I don't want your careless words turning the children against one another."

"As for after I die, that's a matter for later. I won't be able to do anything about it anyway."
