On North Mountain outside Okla City, Kyle and Celeste sat facing each other, using an ordinary game of chess to construct a battlefield and duel on another level.
Outside the pavilion, Velin's figure slowly emerged. Seeing the two of them playing chess, he walked straight over.
Seeing Velin arrive, both Kyle and Celeste showed a trace of surprise.
At a time like this, shouldn't he be somewhere reading stories?

"Keep playing. I'll just watch for a while." Velin clasped his hands behind his back and said with an air of old composure.
Seeing this, Kyle and Celeste turned their attention back to the chessboard.
After standing at the side and watching for a few minutes, Velin immediately felt a little bored. He went over to the side, took out a lounge chair, lay down on it, then pulled out a storybook and began reading as if no one else were there.
Seeing this, Kyle and Celeste looked at each other and both saw understanding in the other's eyes. Sure enough, this was still the person they knew.
Before he knew it, the sun felt more and more comfortable on his skin.
He placed the book over his face, closed his eyes, and before long, fell asleep.
After one match ended, the two of them started again.
"Speaking of which, you've been very free lately. Shouldn't you be supervising your lord and making sure he trains properly?" Celeste asked, curiosity on his face.
Kyle shook his head and said with a smile, "In the past, I definitely would have had to supervise him. But now, there's no need."
