Upon entering the opera house, Velin's first impression was one of harmony. The voices of people conversing as they came and went were all gentle, even carrying a faint air of pretentious refinement.
At the front, Velin looked over the price list, then took out a gold coin and placed it on the counter. "Two tickets for that Wind Listener opera."
Upon hearing this, the attendant at the counter took out two tickets and pushed them toward Velin before accepting the gold coin.
Holding the two tickets, Velin took Xuemya's hand and headed toward the corresponding stage.
After taking seats near the front, Velin pulled two pieces of fruit from the internal space of the Druid's Book and handed one to Xuemya. "Here."
Xuemya took the fruit, but rather than eating it, she simply held it in her hand.
"I feel like it's been a long time since the two of us went out for a stroll like this," Velin said as he bit into his fruit.
"It has been a long time." Xuemya tucked her hair behind her ear and smiled. "When you're free, I'm busy with experiments. When I'm free, you're off doing great things again."
"Then when you get the chance, how about I take you around this country?"
"Then I'll wait for you."
Before long, the stage curtain was drawn open.
In an instant, light flashed, pulling everyone present into an illusion.
