That night, Velin stayed at the military camp. After finishing breakfast the next morning, he returned to Okla City.
No sooner had he stepped into the garden than Kyle came looking for him.
"Lord, we found him."
"You found him?" Velin's face filled with surprise as he asked, "Where?"
"In the southern part of North River Valley Province," Kyle answered directly, without any suspense.
"Not Baimu Province..."
Halfway through, Velin suddenly realized something.
The southern part of the old North River Valley Province was the present-day Baimu Province, wasn't it?
"No wonder we couldn't find him after searching for two years. We were looking in the wrong place," Velin muttered.
Hearing his lord's words, Kyle looked somewhat helpless as well. They had initially searched Baimu Province, only to discover that it was Baimu Province under the new administrative divisions, rather than Baimu Province under the old system.
"How did you find out?"
"Lord, it was quite a coincidence."
Over the course of several minutes, Kyle recounted the entire matter in the briefest terms possible.
After listening to Kyle's explanation, Velin felt that it truly was a coincidence.
Who could have known that an accidental attempt by a rather independent Shadow Assassin would uncover the descendant of the God of Dreams, whom they had failed to find after two years of searching?
"Still, someone like that isn't suited for the Shadow Assassins. Find an opportunity to transfer him to the Review Directorate."
"Yes, Lord."
"Let's go meet this descendant of the God of Dreams."

The two left the royal palace and headed northwest toward Baimu Province.
In a small wooden cabin near the forest north of Ruenna Town, Moloka County, Thousand Crags Commandery, Baimu Province, Qixing West District, a white-haired youth sat cross-legged on a wooden bed. Purple threads flickered
