"Y-You already knew about this?" O'dor asked somewhat guiltily.
Velin smiled. "I promised you that if you found your own teacher, I wouldn't stand in your way."
"Thank you. I get along very well with—Flora." O'dor spoke quietly, but Velin still heard him.
"Then let me congratulate you in advance on your success." Velin rarely saw O'dor like this. He was usually indifferent, so it was a rare sight to see him reveal such an expression.
After chatting a little longer, O'dor left. Some nobles soon gathered around Velin. Most merely exchanged a sentence or two with him to leave an impression, while a smaller number wished to join his service.
Velin could only tell them he would consider it. At the very least, he would not accept the allegiance of these nobles until the war with the Dwarves was over.
Night fell, and the Banquet, which had lasted ten hours, came to an end.
That night, in the study, Angus sat in a chair while Velin stood beside him.

Angus glared at Velin and slowly said, "Others naturally cannot. Even your Fourth Brother will not be able to when he becomes a Viscount in the future. But for you, this counts as a reward. The value of what you have given the family is immeasurable, while the rewards the family has given you have not matched
