By Pink Lake, the Black Dragon Cosmo lay prostrate on the ground and bowed to Velin. "Great Master, this humble servant is deeply honored by your arrival."
"Who did you learn that from?" Velin looked at the fawning smile on a dragon's face and found it incredibly jarring.
Seraphina, clad in Red Battle Armor, looked at Cosmo, another Chromatic Dragon, with undisguised disgust. If her master had not been present, she would have dearly loved to teach this disgrace among Chromatic Dragons a lesson.
"Great Master, this subordinate humbly learned it from Kobold General Orphus. If you are dissatisfied, I can send him to meet the Mother of Chromatic Dragons right now." Watching Velin's expression, Cosmo immediately chose to sell out his kobold strategist.
A Silver Low-Tier Kobold Warrior standing not far away heard Cosmo's words and was so frightened that he dropped to his knees, trembling all over.
"Forget it."
Hearing this, Kobold General Orphus's anxious heart calmed down. He made a decision: from now on, he would record Cosmo's every move each day.
To retaliate against that dog bastard, he decided to shorten the interval for reporting to the West Wind County Administrator from once every five days to once every three days.
"Orphus."
The kobold general rose and came before Velin. Kneeling on the ground, he lowered his head and replied, "My lord, what are your orders?"
"How many subordinates do you have?"
"My lord, I command five hundred Kobold Warriors as steadfast as steel, as well as eight hundred brave and fearless Goblin Warriors. They were all the finest laborers in the underground mines before being transformed through rigorous training. They are your most loyal slaves. As Lord Cosmo's kin, they are stationed around Pink Lake and control an area of roughly two thousand square kilometers."
