Pushing open the study doors, he saw Xuemiyya seated at the head of the desk, dealing with official matters.
Xuemiyya suddenly looked up. Seeing her husband before her, a smile appeared on her face. She set down the document in her hand, rose to her feet, and said gently, "You're back."
"I'm back." Velin quickly came to the desk and reached out, gently stroking Xuemiyya's silky silver hair. His tone was incomparably tender. "You've worked hard during this time."
"Then, dear Velin, since you know I've worked so hard, how are you going to compensate me?"
