As the Fifteenth Army advanced steadily, the nobles of southeastern Brera District surrendered at the mere sight of them. The few loyal and courageous men left behind felt powerless to turn the tide and killed themselves one after another, using death to prove their loyalty to the Grand Duke.
On May 15, when the Fifteenth Army captured the satellite city of Kambla City, it officially joined the Titon Kingdom United Army in surrounding Brera City.
