At noon the next day, led by Priest Lavia, Velin and Kyle arrived at Kelt Tulem's home.
A beautiful woman supported a white-haired old man, while a young boy stood beside them. To those unaware of the circumstances, the scene might have seemed rather strange.
A gentle smile appeared on Kelt's face as he slowly said, "Lord Velin, we meet again."
"It has been over thirty years." At his words, a trace of remembrance flashed through Velin's eyes.
After exchanging pleasantries, the group entered the living room and sat around a wooden table.
Looking around, Velin saw that the furnishings were simple, with no lavish decorations.
The boy carried over a teapot and poured tea for everyone. Once he had finished, he went behind his father and began massaging him to ease the pain in his body.
"Having answered Lavia's request, I came this time to treat the injury to your soul." Velin lifted his teacup, took a small sip of the pale green tea, and got straight to the point.
Upon hearing this, Kelt's wife and child both looked up at once. Hope shone in their eyes, and joy spread across their faces.
"Cough, cough, cough."
Kelt choked on his tea and said in disbelief, "Lord Velin, this... this..."
"If you want to thank someone, let the boy thank his master. If Lavia had not come to ask me, I might not have come here." Velin set down his teacup and replied unhurriedly.
Upon hearing this, the boy went before Lavia, dropped to both knees, and knocked his head against the floor with a crisp sound.
"What are you doing? Hurry and get up."
Lavia stepped forward and helped his disciple up, brushing the bits of gravel from his forehead. "You were in trouble. Could your master simply stand
