The three entered the small town, instantly drawing the attention of many Ice Elves. There was curiosity, vigilance, and just as much disgust.
"Turn left at the end of the square and walk all the way to the end. I'll be inside that Magic Potion shop."
Madam Catherine's voice rang beside his ears. Velin withdrew his gaze and motioned for Kyle and Lester to follow.
Under the scrutinizing gazes of the many Ice Elves, the three arrived outside an unremarkable Magic Potion shop. Looking up, they saw the word Skago written above it in Elvish.
As Velin approached the entrance and was about to knock, he discovered that the wooden door had opened on its own.
"Come in."
Hearing the voice from within, Velin lowered his raised right hand and entered the shop without changing expression.
Inside the Magic Potion shop, Catherine sat upright in a broad armchair. Her legs were elegantly crossed, her right leg slightly raised with its toe lightly touching the floor. Her left hand supported her chin, while her right held a black leather-bound book.
Beside her stood a beautiful young Ice Elf girl with her hands resting over her abdomen, gazing curiously at the three who had entered.
Upon seeing Velin, Catherine closed her book and gently set it on her lap. Then, pointing to the soft chairs nearby, she said quietly, "Have a seat."
Velin lowered his head slightly in thanks, then walked to the sofa and sat down. After bowing, Kyle and Lester took seats near the medicine cabinet.
"My name is Catherine Xiloreia. You could say I'm Gloria's cousin."
"And what should I call you, stranger knight?"
Hearing this, Velin prepared to rise, but felt a force preventing him from doing so.
"Speak while seated. There's no need for such unnecessary etiquette."
