Thirteen Councilors

Kaoru, the former Seven-Tails Jinchuriki of Takigakure and now an official member of Team One, had taken laziness to a whole new level. By the time she finished her instant noodles, it was already nearly nine.

Just as she sat down on her bed, the doorbell rang urgently.

A long dark-gold tail slipped out of the room, curled around the corner into the living room, passed through the entryway, and rested against the front door.

"Kaoru, get up already!" Kisuke ignored the tail as it withdrew, slipped on his slippers, and walked inside.

"Uncle Kisuke, I got up and finished breakfast already~"

Her listless voice came from beneath the blankets in her room.

"Seriously... who would believe someone like this could get elected?" Reaching the living room, Kisuke casually tossed the empty instant noodle cup into the trash.

When he entered the bedroom, he habitually shook his head and sighed.

"Kaoru, when did you become a councilor candidate?"

"I don't know~"

"Sigh, you're still half-asleep..."

Whether the Mangekyo Genjutsu had been undone or not, Kaoru, this Jinchuriki, was Kisuke's inescapable nightmare.

Especially after all these years in Konoha.

"She's hopeless. Even if she becomes a councilor, this kid is still hopeless..."

As he closed the bedroom door behind him, he continued sighing heavily.

9:50 a.m.

The blanket covering Kaoru was folded into a neat stack at incredible speed.

With her eyes still closed, she changed out of her pajamas.

When she opened her eyes again, every trace of her grogginess vanished in an instant.

After putting on her shoes at the entryway, Kaoru entered Tailed Beast Chakra Mode and appeared ten thousand meters in the air in the blink of an eye.

From her experience, five minutes was more
