"That kid really knows how to pick his timing." Chiken rose from his chair, narrowing his eyes alongside Aoko as he gazed into the distance.

Sanctuary Two, over a kilometer wide, slowly emerged from the enormous black rectangular space gate that had suddenly appeared in the sky.

"Waa..." A baby's cry drew everyone's attention back to the closed doors.

"Did my little brother come out?" Five-year-old Itachi slid off his chair and followed his father to the delivery room doors.

No longer anxious, Fugaku smiled at his eldest son. "Not come out—be born..."

The delivery room doors slowly opened, spilling out an especially dazzling white light.

Squinting, Itachi finally saw his little brother in a nurse's arms, his entire face wrinkled up.
