As if he had not heard Sabo enter, Dragon pressed his prosthetic hand to his forehead and sat at the desk with a violent scowl.

"You should at least eat something. Koala has reheated it three times already."

Sabo carefully set the meal in his hands on the table.

He knew Dragon was in a terrible mood after losing his limbs, so he moved as quietly as possible.

The day Dragon had escaped back, everyone had been horrified by his injuries. Even now, Sabo could vividly recall the terrifying wound on his face.

Not a single Doctor in the Revolutionary Army had dared say that Dragon would survive.

Yet Dragon had survived. From then on, however, his face had been wrapped in thick bandages, leaving only a pair of eyes filled with rage.

"How many times have I told you not to come in and interrupt me while I'm thinking?!"

Dragon suddenly overturned the meal Sabo had brought and slapped Sabo hard across the face.

One prosthetic limb flew away from the blow.

Both of them froze.

"I'm sorry, Sabo. I haven't been able to control myself these past few days. Don't come looking for me again," Dragon apologized.

"It's all right, Lord Dragon."

Sabo smiled gently. With his swollen red cheek, he went to retrieve Dragon's prosthetic limb from where it had fallen, then cleaned up the shattered meal on the floor before silently leaving the room.

Sabo stopped Koala, who had been about to barge in, and shook his head at her. "Don't go in. Lord Dragon needs some time alone to calm down."

Koala pursed her lips, looking as though she were about to cry. "Lord Dragon's temper has been getting worse and worse lately. I'm worried..."
