Light Cannon

Dense, bizarre missiles filled the sky.

Some missiles suddenly accelerated midair, some split into dozens of smaller missiles, and some lit up with dazzling golden light.

The light cannon on the Pluton Armor's chest went dark, while a red light lit up above its head. Tiny, dense beams precisely locked onto the incoming missiles through magnetic field detection.

The vast majority of the missiles were intercepted and detonated in midair, exploding like brilliant, colorful fireworks.

Their power far exceeded that of fireworks. Even quite a few Giants were knocked to the ground by the shockwaves of the explosions, let alone the soldiers.

The soldiers beneath the explosions were buffeted by violent winds, staggering every which way and nearly getting blown away.

Of the few remaining missiles, the super-large Pluton Mecha at the very front unfolded the azure Light Shield in its hand, blocking every attack.

The Light Shield held by the mecha was a defensive weapon made with the West Sea's most advanced technology. The areas it was struck rapidly turned red. Whether it was the kinetic energy from explosions or flames, all of it was absorbed by the Light Shield and converted into pure energy.

Among the thousand small and medium-sized warships were a wide variety of types.

Their mere hundred-meter frames granted them unparalleled mobility.

A small number of specialized Pluton Battleships burrowed underground like mice and vanished.

Most small and medium-sized mecha either transformed their arms into various cold weapons or drew red-glowing greatswords from their backs.

Scarlet flames lit up beneath their feet, and they skimmed across the ground like agile, nimble dragonflies.

Nearly all Pluton Mecha below the large class retained only the Main Cannon on their chests as their sole means of long-range attack.
