Underground LV6, Infinite Hell

As long as they passed through the gate before them, they would reach the legendary Underground Level 6, the Infinite Hell.

At the thought of seeing Barrett again, Buggy's heart began pounding wildly.

He was nervous beyond measure.

"K-Kaze..."

Buggy's voice trembled nonstop. "Have you really thought this through?"

"There's a reason Barrett is called the Demon Heir."

"Not only is he incredibly strong, but he doesn't believe in companions at all."

"Even aboard Roger's ship, he never really fit in."

"Are you sure you want someone like that to become our companion?"

Buggy tried to persuade Kaze again.

What he really meant was that he hoped Kaze would think it over carefully.

Better yet, abandon the idea altogether.

However, when he tried to persuade Kaze one last time, Buggy deliberately used the word "our."

He tied himself to Kaze.

As though he were one of Kaze's own people.

Kaze, however, did not pay attention to that detail.

What he truly valued was Barrett's strength.

As for his personality, as long as he was not some utterly heinous scoundrel—

There was no problem.

"We've already come this far. What are you talking about?"

Kaze glanced at Buggy, then activated the power of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit once more.

Dazzling lightning flashed again.

The next second.

Rumble!

Accompanied by a deafening boom, the gate leading to Underground Level 6 was blasted open by Kaze!

Not only that, the tremendous blast and its light spread through Underground Levels 4 to 6!

The prisoners confined within the Infinite Hell were instantly drawn to the commotion.

One after another, they walked to their cell doors and looked toward the source of the sound.

However, the sound came swiftly and vanished just as quickly.

In only a few breaths.

The lightning and the noise all disappeared.
