Balorick had not ruled out the idea of leaving this place.

He simply had never trusted anyone since childhood.

When the other prisoners saw Kaze stop in front of Balorick's cell, they began shouting at him.

They begged him to open their cell doors.

But Kaze naturally had no interest in those voices.

With a wave of one hand, dazzling lightning flashed again and blasted toward Balorick's cell door.

After a tremendous crash, Balorick's cell door crashed to the floor.

Both Bullet and Crocodile raised their brows.

They had thought that after seeing how aged Balorick was, Kaze would give up on recruiting him.

They had not expected him to persist.

"Balorick, don't you want to leave this place?"

Kaze paid no attention to what Bullet and Crocodile were thinking. A faint smile curled his lips as he invited Balorick.

He hoped Balorick would leave with him.

Balorick stared at Kaze.

He watched him for quite a while.

In his younger days, he had indeed been a pirate who stood shoulder to shoulder with Roger.

But now, he had been imprisoned here for far too long.

His physical abilities had deteriorated.

Forget juniors like Bullet and Crocodile.
