What held value for Ian was a mid-level zero-ring Witchcraft Artifact. It could lessen interference with Mental Power, especially interference caused by mind-control Wizardry.
The former was manageable, but the latter was indeed an excellent function.
After all, his greatest advantages lay in his abundant Mental Power, swift Wizardry casting, and formidable power—but that was only on the premise that he could cast his spells.
Yet when facing mind-control Wizardry, he did not have many defensive spells against it. This was like adding another layer of insurance.
Apart from that.
Ian also found several books within, including some material on Blackstone School, as well as several wizard's notes.
They recorded all sorts of things.
"These are materials on advancing to Third-Rank Wizard Apprentice!"
Flipping to the last dozen or so pages of the notes, Ian's face lit up with delight.
He had yet to exchange for materials on advancing to Third-Rank, because this portion was highly valuable and also required a certain amount of contribution.
Of course, he certainly met the requirements.
