Ian held a cross sword in his hand.
As he swung it, streaks of silver light flashed, radiating a grim, murderous aura.

As though his knight method had reached some kind of threshold, Ian tossed the cross sword aside and closed his eyes, repeatedly sensing something.

The muscles all over his body rose and fell like rippling water, every inch of muscle seemingly gaining a will of its own.
