Silver Hall.
This hall opened only when the Silver Society held academic presentations.
Besides important academic exchanges, it was used only when someone advanced to Grand Scholar.
The side hall, meanwhile, generally hosted smaller exchanges and scholar advancement ceremonies.
Over a hundred Wizards were already seated in the side hall.
Elena sat at the very center. She had little interest in this advancement ceremony and was present only because she was the evaluator.
Chahara and Liam sat on either side of her.
Besides those three, the first two rows held other senior scholars and scholars, while the rows behind them were filled with apprentice scholars.
"Who's advancing today? I haven't seen anyone with a chance of advancing lately!"
"No idea."
Watching the two apprentice scholars whispering ahead of him, Hugo, seated farther back, also had a flicker of puzzlement in his eyes.
He had been hoping to advance to scholar himself, so he paid close attention to such matters.
He really hadn't heard of anyone planning to advance recently.
"Perhaps a longtime apprentice scholar finally accumulated enough to advance."
Hugo pondered.
"It's starting!"
A voice ahead interrupted his thoughts, and he looked up.
He saw Diana, who was hosting the ceremony, step out and smile at everyone.
"The person at the heart of today's advancement ceremony is a newly promoted scholar who joined the society less than three years ago." Diana's voice wasn't loud, but it reached everyone's ears clearly.
Less than three years?
The Wizards present were immediately surprised.
Mainly because that was far too short a time. Even five or six years, or seven or eight, wouldn't have been considered long.
Who was it?
The newest group of apprentice scholars exchanged puzzled glances.
Few people had joined within the last three years, and Hugo had the best prospects.
