Lu Li froze when he heard that. "Then why didn't you say so earlier!?"
Psykos wore an innocent expression. "Master, you never gave me the chance. You kept talking with Genos and didn't spare any thought for me."
Lu Li realized it really did seem to be his fault. After watching the news, he had started discussing life philosophies with Genos and left Psykos hanging to the side.
"What's going on?"
Lu Li looked at the swarm of mosquitoes filmed on television. Within his senses, the swarm was approaching the street where he was.
"The House of Evolution, I suppose."
Psykos stretched lazily as though she had eaten and drunk her fill, her lovely curves fully displayed.
Lu Li's eyes lit up at those words. He did not even bother scraping the bottom of the pot clean before rushing outside, though he paused at the door. "You two, come with me."
He was wondering whether, with so many mosquitoes outside, there might be another Easter egg like the one he had encountered earlier. If there was, wouldn't he be able to farm those artifact-like items like crazy?
Genos naturally had no objections. He had always been eager to witness his teacher's formidable strength, while Psykos was curious just how powerful Lu Li truly was.
The group moved at incredible speed and reached the scene in less than ten seconds. This was another deserted street in City Z, near the uninhabited district where Lu Li had previously lived. Following the earlier battles, the residents had felt unsafe and moved away.
The mosquito swarm seemed to have come to City Z with a purpose. After passing through the deserted district and searching it without finding anything, they had flown this way.
In accordance with his principle of gathering as much intelligence as
