"Release Ashura Kabuto? No, he's far too unstable!"

"Who knows if he'll kill all of us first once he gets out!"

"But... it seems there's no other way. Only Ashura Kabuto can stop this person."

The Dr. Genuses spoke over one another. In the end, the original made the final decision and allowed Ashura Kabuto to come out.

When Lu Li arrived at the Underlayer with Genos, he saw a group of human corpses. What puzzled him was that all of those humans looked identical.

"Teacher Lu Li, those should be clones."

Seeing Lu Li's confused expression, Genos explained.

"I know. I was just wondering why they released a weak monster to kill themselves."

As Lu Li spoke, he looked ahead. At the end of the tunnel was a massive sealed metal chamber, as spacious as a plaza.

At the center of the metal plaza stood a towering figure, gripping a man by the neck. With a slight exertion of force, he snapped the man's neck, and blood sprayed everywhere from his mouth.

"Huh?"

Ashura Kabuto tossed Dr. Genus's clone onto the ground and picked at his ear with a bloodstained finger. "Human over there, what did you just say? I didn't catch that."

Lu Li calmly led Genos into the metal chamber. He also spotted Dr. Genus standing against the wall, sweat beading on his forehead. Judging by the results of his scan, that should have been the original.

His senses were extraordinarily powerful. The instant the electric current slipped underground, he had heard their discussion and learned of Ashura Kabuto's existence. He had merely been curious how strong House of Evolution's most powerful monster was, so he had allowed them to release Ashura Kabuto.
