Evil and Heroes

Stark had not had an easy time lately. After agreeing to that evil deal, following the first news report of a suspected Paramecia User, he had spent enormous effort gathering intelligence... even hacking several more S.H.I.E.L.D. satellites in the process.

Now, while the Avengers team ran around dealing with Paramecia User crimes, Tony Stark had secluded himself for several months under the pretense of upgrading his armor and had finally come up with something.

"A weakness?"

Nick Fury perked up in the conference room.

"You're sure?"

"Of course I'm sure. Don't forget, I'm Iron Man!" The unkempt Tony rubbed his hands nervously.

Then he casually hacked into the conference room computer and ordered Jarvis to project the data onto the screen.

Nick Fury: "..."

He was used to it!

"Besides their individual weaknesses and the vital points they had as humans, these Devil Fruit users have one shared weakness..."

Tony explained, "After comparing and analyzing hundreds of thousands of substances on Earth, I discovered that there is something capable of weakening, or even nullifying, a Paramecia User's abilities."

"Oh? What is it?" Nick Fury's eyes lit up.

Hill's did too.

If there was something that could counter Paramecia Users themselves, both ordinary people's obsession with the fruits and the threat posed by their users would be greatly reduced.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe had limited types of abilities. Unlike the Main Universe and the Ultimate Universe, it had no mutants to use as reference samples. Faced with these superpowered individuals appearing unpredictably on such a large scale, Nick Fury was experiencing this for the first time in his life, and it was giving him a splitting headache.

"Salt!"

"I see. That really is something we never considered..." Nick Fury nodded, holding his chin.

Then he froze.

A few seconds later.

"Sorry...
