An immense, crushing force suddenly bore down on Ego, now transformed into a planet, causing him to instantly lose control of his body.

More precisely, it was not control—it was restriction!

Using a star and a planet as the formation's cores, the gravitational force that had persisted within the Star System for countless billions of years ran wild at this moment. Planets farther away broke free one after another and flew into the vast depths of space, while Ego alone was pulled toward the center.

"D-Damn it!"

Planet Ego was terrified beyond measure. He overclocked his divine power, but the more he struggled, the more horrified he became to discover that no matter which direction he burst toward, he could not move his body even an inch.

"What is this? What did you do to me?!" Ego roared in terror.

The universe allowed his voice to travel through the vacuum. The energy contained within it, even when it merely swept roughly over the planet on the first orbit, caused vibrations equivalent to a magnitude-ten earthquake across its surface, with the epicenter extremely close to the ground.

Yet it could not damage the intricate, complex patterns on the planet's surface in the slightest. He was still being dragged over swiftly and relentlessly.

As he drew nearer, the star's searing heat mercilessly poured over him.

The ruined surface of the planet burst into flames once more, roasting Ego's "face" bright red.
