Eternity and Infinity had originally concluded that the "Black Count" was the mastermind behind everything. He had deceived the Ancient One, causing her to willingly hand over the Eye of Agamotto in the course of fulfilling her duty, completely unaware of the truth.

But her next words instantly overturned the "truth before their eyes"!

"That explains it." After seeing the Ancient One off in the gap between time, Infinity spoke to Eternity.

"That being on our level never personally entered this world, which is why we never detected it. The Black Count the Ancient One spoke of was likely just his advance force, an agent."

"Indeed." Eternity nodded.

"Otherwise, Death could never have made a deal with him. Their ranks are far too far apart."

The Ancient One had no idea what had happened, which was why she found their shock so strange.

Because none of the anomalies currently taking place could possibly have been accomplished by a mere "mage."

That rank was far too low.

Like Death, they knew perfectly well that opening the Realm Barrier required the intervention of an existence like themselves, one that wielded immense Law Power. "A mage" was utterly insignificant.

The "power" she understood and the implication behind this matter were worlds apart.

Through the Ancient One, the two quickly grasped the entire sequence of events.

First, the Necromancer known as the Black Count had entered this universe with the aid of the being behind him, gathered intelligence, and begun collecting the Infinity Stones.

Then, for various reasons, Death learned of his existence. Knowing how sturdy the Realm Barrier was, she instantly perceived his true intentions.

But she had not stopped him.

Instead, she had struck a deal with him, allowing him to run rampant in this universe and draw the two of them
